Alright... I want everyones unbiased opinions on this one how do you think Schill is gonna do today? I'm gonna go 6 IP 3 ER 6 K's 1 BB but gets the win because Jaret Wright is gonna get hammered... you aint in the NL East anymore kid.

I don't think he will be very sharp in his first outing, and I think 6 innings will be his limit. So...

6.0 IP, 4 ER, 2 BB, 3 K's

I also think Wright will get hammered, he will do better once he builds some confidence though.

Who knows what to expect. He may be a bit rusty. Wouldn't surprise me to see him give up 5 or 6 runs in 4 or 5 innings, but I doubt he'll get torched.

Not because I'ma Yankees fan, but I don't think he'll go that far. I don't think Wright will pitch a gem. I think he'll do better than last outing, but I have a feeling the Yankees will squeak out the win. I think they remember the last game that they faced him and will have something to prove. As will Schilling after his dismal display after that AAA game. I just think he's rushing his return, and should rehab maybe a week longer in the minors.Just my hunble opinion.

Thats a complete myth. NL to AL isn't that big a jump. Wright proved it yesterday.

you have to prove it throughout the whole season. the NL to the AL is most certainly a jump. every 9th batter is not the pitcher. imagine facing nixon, or bellhorn in the 9th hole instead of schilling. it's a big difference, in fact, depending on the team, it's a HUGE difference.

Oh, it most definitely is a little bit of a jump, but it's not as some people make it out to be.

Say we were only able to take out Ortiz as our DH...and put in Wells instead. That's a f***ing HUGE ass jump.

Ortiz would probably be playing 1b in that situation bit ok a little more accurate how about taking out MIllar and putting in Wells a f***ing HUGE ass jump. It dosn't matter who gets taken out it is a huge thing you also have to remember in the NL the 8th batter is like th 9 batter in the AL so in the NL its really like facing two #9's in the same lineup.
