Early 1:00 start today. I know I'll be missing it so I'm gonna have to Tivo todays game.

The matchup today is a battle of 2 new acquisitions. Matt Clement will be making his debut for the Red Sox and Carl Pavano will also be making his debut for the Yankees.

Yeah, just having to tape it in order to watch it later on today. Honestly though, one afternoon game this series is fine. But two? Are they worried about the weather being too cold at night or something?

Matt Clement had a good spring, especially with his control which had been his achilles heel. Let's see if that manifests itself into a good performance today. Last time we faced Pavano we knocked him around, in that like 25-8 game against the Marlins where they didn't record an out until 10 runs were scored.

 

I have a good feeling about this, but we will see.

Phew, we got out of a jam right there with that double play. The game is still within reach if we would actually start to hit!

Foulke threw too many changeups. I was saying, when is he gonna throw a fastball.

He's a flyball closer, we knew this when we got him. He throws changeups instead of throwing fastballs, and it works for him. You can't really blame him for throwing his pitch.

What a useless game that was. It's on at 1 in the afternoon so no one cares (evidenced by the lack of activity here), and then its all for naught. Damn it.

i was too busy watching the game to post here.. i know it's only been 2 games, but don't you wish we still had cabrera? i'll wait till the end of the season to see if i was correct.
