Well, Thursday is the big day. The guys on EEI during and after the game today had me a little worried. They seem to think that Congress got pissed when the players didn't agree to show up the first time, and that Congress may try and stick it to the players in the hearing. It could get pretty interesting. I'm going to record it while I'm at work. I still think (hope) Schilling really has nothing to worry about. :(

Wow, I just heard something on the Gammons page...

MLB was trying to keep Congress from getting the drug testing files because if any of the names of the players who failed is leaked to the media, then the collective bargaining agreement is gone - null and void. That would mean I assume, gulp, a stoppage of play.

Damn. I didn't know that. It also makes the Union look that much worse.

I hate listening to Gammons. He has good ideas, but he can't speak dammit!

"If those names are released it is agreed that the new agreement is null and void." Eek. "Total chaos."

gammons is a pompous windbag.

But back to the thread...boy McCain. let 'em have it. I think it's about time. these guys are full of s*** and every one knows it.

Now if they really want to clean up this mess, they outta run cheaters like bonds out of the game...I was always behind how they have treated pete rose, but now I wonder how he doesnt get in the hall if these guys are allowed to go unpunished. what a mess.
