Talk about no energy at the stadium, but it is great to be watching baseball again!

They were all too busy waving on their friggin cell phones. That had to be a record for one game, it was unbelievable.

Doubleheader for the Sox today, they are playing Northeastern and BC today. As of right now the Sox are up 13-0 on the Huskies right now in the bottom of the 5th. They play BC at 7.

Ahaha, 13-0! I don't understand why they do this, to kill their self esteem?

Make it 17-0. I don't get it either, free trip to Florida? Add that to the fact that Wakefield was pitching for the Sox and I doubt the Huskies have ever seen a knuckleball, you can't help but to feel pity.

Red Sox play 2 more games today. Right now they are in the other side of town to face Minnesota and are leading 6-3. Ortiz apparently hit a grand slam which gave the Sox the lead. Later they will play Cincinnati in Sarasota. Arroyo is scheduled to pitch that game. It will be at 6 on NESN/UPN 38.

Oh, damn, Ortiz had a grand slam in the 5th against the Twins. I missed it. :(

It wasn't on TV, and I haven't seen a clip of it, so I don't think there's anything to see.

2nd and 1st 0 out. Hanley snags a line drive, touches 2nd and throws to first to get the runners. Amazing heads up play for a prospect.

Sox win again 5-4. Tomorrow they'll face the Yanks.

It's on NESN at 7:05 thank god. It would have been downright stupid to play the yanks and not televise the first meeting.

Alvarez starts for us I believe.

It is the spring, and outings are limited to like, 8 pitches, but didn't he just pitch two days ago or so? Maybe my sense of time is off, but I think that's what it is.

And it looks like Giambi will be one of the players present tomorrow:

Giambi was among seven regulars chosen Sunday for the travel squad for the New York Yankees' split-squad game against the Boston Red Sox in Fort Myers. It will be the first meeting of the rivals since Boston beat the Yankees in Game 7 of the AL Championship Series last October, becoming the first major league team to overcome a 3-0 deficit in a postseason series.
