Schilling throws from the mound today

He threw 47 pitches today and Schill was dissapointed, but Francona and Wallace said that he looked great

Typical of him to be dissapointed with what others viewed as good work. Its good that they're getting into the swing of things, I can't wait until the actual games!

I'm sad to say I really don't think he's gonna start opening day as much as I would like it he can't gamble his whole season to start the first game of the season if he can do it and stay healthy great but he shouldn't risk it.

I think he'll start opening day. Schilling is disappointed even when he wins. lol. I like to see that though, he is really determined.

Perhaps he knows he won't be ready by opening day and is trying to let the Sox know now. It really doesn't matter whether he starts that night or not. Early April at night in NY will be too cold anyway and just risk an injury.
