Not to help you out or anything, DOrtiz4Prez, but why do you have OF Brady Clark on the bench right now? Aaron Rowand isn't really producing for you in the OF right now...why not put in Clark in place of Rowand?

Why the hell am I not able to pick up a 3rd OFer on my fantasy team? I've made a a couple moves and they aren't showing up, yet. I picked up Mantei (I believe) and my trade with the Springfield Rifles hasn't gone through yet.

Also, anyone looking for a first baseman, I have Lyle Overbay who is really starting to heat it up (hitting .320 w/ 6 RBI last week) and although practically no one has a catcher thats producing, I would like to see about trading for one.

 

Another thing: It would be nice if we started posting on this thread more. I don't know if it's because this is always at the top and we never really look at it or what, but it would be helpful if we started giving updates about our team on here.

Yagmaster is a supermod here, and was the 2nd member of this site. He technically started this site with me, but hasn't done much with it. You won't be hurting his feelings by not knowing who he is, he hasn't been on talksox since june 5th. Maybe its time to demote him.

That's the only problem with baseball fantasy leagues. I've been trying to keep up my best with the league, but when you're in your first year of the league and you don't have a great draft and you follow it up by making a bad trade or two it's tough to be any better than 9 or 10 in the 16 team league. As they now say in New York: Wait 'til next year.

 

I'll ride out the season, but man this has been a tough year for the Texas PawSox.

Another suggestion: We may not want to have this thread always posted at the top. I think if it's not always stuck at the top, it won't be passed up like it is right now. More trades will be made and more attention will be payed to the fantasy league if we do that.

Geez, no wonder Mexico City Mexicans is leading the league by 9.5 games. His pitching is just phenominal and his hitting is tearing it up. Whoever that is, really was able to draft some great players.
