Wow. What a game. They completely dominated UConn, even with Craig Smith on the bench. They are now 12-0 which I believe is an all-time school record.

UConn is better than Syracuse. If BC plays as well as they did theyll be able to win that game I think.

I definitely think UConn has way more talent than Syracuse. Villanueva, Boone, Anderson, the list goes on and on. While think that Syracuse is a talented team, I just think that UConn has more, a better coach, and basically a better all around understanding of the game. The recruiting there is better there too. They lost Emeka Okafor AND Ben Gordon, their two best players, in the draft, and theyre still one of the top teams. They lost to UMass and BC because they simply underestimated them and BC just outplayed them. Dont get me wrong BC is a good team, but it was a game where UConn would have won if they had the right mentality.

UConn consistentcy is an oxymoron. Recall they swept SU in NC03, but had a double digit L column. ANyone that ever owned a husky will understand that they love to run but basically cannot be trained. They will have bad games, especially the young ones. Throw in an arrogant driver (Calhoun), fans with football mentality, and women that overshadow the men, you might as well stand back and laugh. THey are nightmares for the pollsters, who will want to judge them favorably because they, after a handful of sidetracks last year, lived up to their billing and are defending champs. UMass gets up for them the way SU gets up for BC on the gridiron.

UCONN reminds me of the 1990 SU team...Tough froncourt, no PG. SU tried Stevie Thompson at PG, a freshman Michael Edwards.

 

Ed Nelson = stiff, overrated transfer much like Leron Ellis.

Though I'm not a BC alumnus, or even Catholic for that matter, it would be nice to see BC go far in the tourney this March. It would really do a lot for the Champhionship-starved residents of the Boston area that had not seen a title in, at the very least, a month and a half.

15 in a row now. What a win. BC was down by 1, 5 seconds left. Some clown on Villanova fouled Jared Dudley (who had a monster night i might add with 36 points) with 5 seconds left. He sinks both, they miss the last shot, and BC gets 15th in a row, and will likely move up in the rankings again if they dont lose again this week, as last I saw, Kentucky was getting beaten, and Wake has already lost this week.

Yankshater what do you think of the BC going to the ACC and the Big East getting so strong next yr, with the likes of louisville, cincinatti, and marquette. IMO the Big east will be the strongest conference in america next season, and they are the deepest this season as u could see with the #7 BE team (villanova) beating the #2 team in the nation @ the time (kansas)

I dunno. Hopefully in the ACC BC will get more national attention, better recruits, etc. They will probably be ranked more often too because the ACC has some pretty damn good teams. Like Duke, UNC, Wake, GA Tech, Maryland aint bad and Miami is supposed to be good next year. They will get raped in that conference. If they want any hope of doing well once conference play starts theyll need basically theyre whole team to improve and return, and bring in some big recruits.

Also, Villanova is a good team. I forget who it was, but they had someone injured for a while, and he was back for the Kansas game. Also, Kansas just didnt show up and play hard that night.
