He won't be any good. His arm gets tired after 10 starts. Also I doubt the junk will work again.

Hernandez is actually said to be working hard this off season by his personal trainor, Mel Weathers. If the Red Sox do try to pick him up, he would only start, and thats why the Red Sox wont get him. They want Wakefield to be there 5th starter, not El Duque.

 

Orlando Hernandez will not work out of the penn next year, he will only want to start. The Cubs are said to be intrested in him as a 5th starter to fill in for Matt Clements departure. Hernandez throws a lot of tricky stuff and that might actually be good for the Cubs to have a trickster like him pitching after a hard thrower like Zambrano.
