A-Rod in Seattle...team sucks

A-Rod leaves...Seattle good team.

A-Rod in Texas...team sucks

A-Rod Leaves...Texas good team.

Yankees...good team

A-Rod arrives...Yankees SUCK!!!!!!

hahahaha....The Curse of A-Rod is in "full effect."

Oh!!! HOW about that lucky number you wear as well #13

Remember Ralph Branca, a pitcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers, who wore no. 13? He would become famous in the 1951 playoffs for surrendering Bobby Thomson's "shot heard round the world" home run, one of the most famous home runs of all-time.

Looks like you guys have some history in common.

firstly) the yankees most definately do not suck, they only had the 2nd best record in the majors this season.

secondly) there is no curse, curses are lame, just a poor excuse for a team that loses.

thirdly) seattle also had RJ and Griffey when they had a-rod.

texas was bad because his salary took up all of their payroll, not to mention chan ho park.

I must agree with John on this one. There may be some coincidences, yes, and a 220 million dollar payroll is never beneficial to any team, but there really is no curse of A-Rod. It's not like he's ever run a good team into the ground.

Just have one thing to say being from Seattle. The Mariners made the playoffs in 2000, and went to the ALCS, with A-Rod. But the Mariners were better in 2001 then 2000.

Curses don't exist. The reason that there even is a curse on the Sox is because of that stupid ******* Shaugnessy and his desire to sell books. The reason that A-Rod teams are better post-Arod is because he is such a huge financial burden, but also because he is absolute s*** in the clubhouse. Every player in Texas said this when he left, even Showalter made it very clear they were happy to see him go. On the Yankees he has shown himself to be a whiny, arrogant, spoiled brat, who slaps at gloves then never admits he was wrong. The past teams that have won the World Series have all had a load of clubhouse chemistry. A-rod obviously detracted from this, and you have to wonder whether this cost them the ability to close the deal with the sox, or to rally back with a win in the most critical games of the year. A-rod is a bum, a great player, but not a great man.
