as you can see he's not good, but not too bad, he's had a bad defensive year overall.

 

manny is awsome, he's funny, he makes the occasional bad play but at least he was running hard for that ball. i'de rather a missed ball than an injured manny.

ok jesus....manny doesnt suck. hes one of the best hitters in baseball. im just saying, you dont get on my good side by making two errors in an inning. although he did knock in two runs, he needs to step it up defensively. hes one of those players that everytime a ball comes his way your heart stops and your think, "please catch the ball, please".

i think his season speaks for himself. and i trust manny in LF just as much as i trust anyone else to catch a ball, its not that hard. its those plays where he has to lay it out on the line a little more than usual when i get nervous, as i do with anyone else. however, u get on my good side and stay there if u have a season like manny did. he had one bad night, and u cant suddeny switch him over to your bad side for it. did we still win? yes. is tomorrow a new day? yes. so whats the problem?

The team did not play well. Millar has a lousy game, with bad at bats, a wild throwing error and getting caught playing way off the line for Walker. Manny was only part of the problems. It was ugly but it was a win, and Schilling is next.

jlc- you're right, manny got on your bad side. maybe i'm just not one to let a few damn games change my views toward someone. bellhorn is basically half of bostons hero. i still think he SUCKS. that's right, i think he SUCKS. unless he can make better contact he is going to suck. no one should strike out as much as he does, it's rediculous. it's the WORST thing you can do in baseball while at the plate.

 

most people jump on the i love bellhorn bandwagon. i'm glad he hit the HR but i still think he sucks, unless he can figure out how to lower those k's. if he can do that he'll be an all star.

The one good thing about the Manny errors...... he notoriously comes back and is a monster at the plate after defensive performances like last night's. We'll see.

Seems to me that the yearly list of strikeout leaders is generally populated by most of the same characters that are on the home run leaders list.

Yes, part of my school went to tour Fenway park (not me I didn't know they were till last minute) So now everyone is hopping on the bandwagon and talking about what huge fans they are >_

and bellhorn is not on that list of hr leaders. if he could possibly learn to make better contact he'll be one of the games top 2nd basemen. unfortunately he missed a lot of balls that are right over the heart of the plate. i don't know what it is. maybe he's a better bad ball hitter than a strike hitter, as weird as that sounds.
