I've been at bitter arguments with Sox fans all year long saying how the Yankees would prevail once again this year. And I have to admit, probably much to your pleasure, the last five days have been a living hell for me. But after long thought, and much alcohol, I say now to all of you... congratulations. As much as it pains me to say your team has shown as much heart as any team I have ever seen. And although I despise all of you, and your team, I tip my hat to you. You fans deserve this pennant. And I actually go as far as wishing you good luck in the W.S. Now for once, the Yankee/ Red Sox feud can actually be called a true RIVALRY. Thank you for reading, and I'll see you next year when the Yankees win their 40'th AL Pennant. Yes count them, 40'th

You know, if I were a bigger man, I'd have posted a post like this on a NY board last year. I didn't, so hat's off to sow hat.

 

And this quote "And although I despise all of you, and your team, I tip my hat to you." could not be funnier. It's something I would have written, if I wasn't so angered. Great post - and I'm being dead serious.

once again, im impressed by a yankee fan. we all hate each other, but we can show respect for one another teams, and i have respect for your team, only some of them though.

 

btw, i know its hard to have to tell the sox good job, weve had to do that many more times than you have... <_>

That is the sort of thing i would never do either, i would like to thank all of the Yankee fans like you who accepted us winning this year!

No kidding? Well add a few innings, a pitch from Wakefield, a swing from Boone, some salt on that wound, a little Pedro Jr. in year 2030 saying, "The Yankees are my Caddy" as he wins the Masters!

 

At least in golf the gallery will have to shut their mouths like you Yankee creaps (And I really can't stand You) will have to do ALL WINTER LONG!!
