that celebration will be something to see, and I cant wait.

 

The point is those stormtroopers werent there to ward off some kind of celebration. They were there becasue the fans were throwing s*** on the field. Over a supposed "bad" call.

 

Listen, Fenway fans arent angels, but they are loyal, loud, and smart and dont do stuff like that ever. The best fans in baseball by far..

 

It was typical, I thought...

How weird though, to see those riot gear clad ghouls file out of the dugout, what do they sit around waiting for the yankmee fans to get obnoxious, mand those cops must be busy.

 

It didnt surprise me, but it was freaky.

The Yankees and their fans shamed themselves last night. Throwing things on the field is just plain STUPID. Trying to illegally interfere with a play is STUPID.

 

I don't mind smart Yankee fans. It's the stupid, loud mouthed ones who don't know anything about baseball but just say things like "1918," "When was the last time Boston won the World Series," or this is my favorite... this is a REAL quote from a guy I know. Not a kid, a 30+ year old man:

 

"Derek Jeter is the best shortstop in baseball."

 

This short-sighted, ignorant comment is what really gets me... how can someone so stupid call themselves a "fan?"

 

Any Yankee fan who shows knowledge, dignity, and class... is welcome on this site as far as I'm concerned. The rest, however, if you could just leave that'd be great.
