Cleveland beating the Yanks 22-0 was the worst thing that could have happened to the Sox.... it reminded the Yankees that the season isn't over and the Sox will no longer be able to sneak forward in the AL East. Expect the Sox to take only one game in the coming 6 between the two.

if u have remembered correctly, the sox have outdone the yanks in head to head play this year. too lazy to post stats, but we are leading the season series i believe, 6-4. we have a better rotation than the yankees, and we can easily beat them in a series on any given 3 or 4 day period. and no, its not the worst thing that happened, because it completely humiliated the yankees for everyone to see and it proves that a team as bad as the Guardians can slaughter a team like the yankees. if anything, it proves to everyone that the yanks are beatable. this is what it was more like.

please... not even a delusional sox fan could possibly think that the 22-0 loss at all defines this Yankees team... and talk to me about the season series record when it's over.... (and when it matters)

truthfully, when you breakdown this sox/yanks team, its actually quite close. i remember reading something by elsrbueno. he made a great post defining the stats between the stats, and basically the comparisons between the two teams are tied, and the yankees dont look exactly as powerful as they are orally meant to be. if i can find the quote by him ill post it...hopefully its ok, but he posted it already so it should be ok.
