You don't consider a .6 something on base percentage helping his team? I'm pretty sure he'll get it because despite all those walks he's still almost putting up pujols numbers.

yes i know, but also the team around him he relies on to get him home, he just doesnt have that in SF. pujols has a nasty lineup (if not the best in the MLB), and will always help him out. teammates factor a lot into the MVP award and stats alone. RBIs for example, huge stat category. and also runs scored...hes not always batted in while in SF. i just dont think bonds will get it.

I thought it was the other way around, if he was surrounded by no one, but was really good then he gets it. On the cards they have a bunch of player who are valuble so none are the most valuble unlike bonds. You make a good aruement, but I just think they'll go with bonds but, the giants have to amke the playoffs.
