I don't want this to happen, but there is a big possibility from what i hear. It would be a network that will go all down the East coast. (I still wouldn't be able to watch Sox games). And what if they had games at the same time? Would MLB schedule the teams at different times? I don't think this will work out.

It's a horrid idea. The Yankees and Red Sox working together?!? The only good that might come of it would be the Sox taking in extra revenue, and sticking it to the Yankees by signing big-name players with YES money.

 

But I just don't see that that happening. I just don't see George and the Yankees doing ANYTHING to cooperate with Theo and the Trio

ok i dont have a source, but my friend told me it was possible that YES and NESN might be combining to make one network. my guess says if it does happen the name is YESN, but i dont know.

 

so i ask: has anyone else heard anything about this?

what i tihnk would happen is that when the games arent televised at the same time, red sox fans get to watch yankees games just to watch them lose. it works for both sides, and if we can split the money 50-50 from broadcasting, well then the red sox get more money and the yankees lose money and that will make georgy very mad.

well i dont think its gonna happen cause i dont see the boss doing anything where hes gonna lose money.

No one would do it if this means losing money. It's obviously being considered because it would bring money to all teams involved from bigger market reach and the like.

i think that this would be a great thing. we would be able to keep tabs on those evil clowns. i think that as long as we can watch the games, it would be great. i would love to get some yankee perspectives...
