A lot of things are brought up here.

 

One thing I like is the rumor that the Braves might be interested in Danny Bautista. He's hitting well in Arizona, and tore up the Yankees in the 2001 World Series. He plays all outfield positions (well), and he can hit. He'd be a good addition if the Sox can pick him up.

BTW...I just like to share with everyone what I read (for reference). I don't always believe it, I don't always agree with it.

seems to me that a lot of teams are asking too much for these guys and thats what is holding a lot of deals up. in the NL central it appears that after the cardinals everyone else will be chasing that wild card spot so i could imagine the cubs and astros trading away players. all of these rumors and no action has me wondering if we will see anything good at all come before the trade deadline.

The thing with the Sox is, though, if they don't get anything done before July 31st, they aren't getting ANYthing done.

 

Can you imagine George letting anyone we try to get past waivers?

 

On the other hand, if the Yankees don't get Randy by the deadline, we will most certainly block him.
