Do you like the monstrous, steroid infused, wait for a grand slam, homerun type of baseball or do you like the sac bunt, steal a base, hit and run type baseball?

I'm a bigger fan of the latter type. Homeruns are exciting and all, but waiting on them seems stupid to me. It's much more exciting to see a speedy runner dart off towards second in a blatant challenge of the catcher, or to see a ball slide through the infield on a successfully completed hit and run (bonus if the runner advances to third).

This isn't just relating to the Red Sox, although it can be, but which do you prefer to watch no matter what the teams playing?

I definitely agree with you, Roary. As a high school pitcher, I'm partial to small ball and manufacturing runs. Not that watching Barry Bonds isn't awesome, as I think he is the most dominant player EVER, but I think the long ball craze ius bad for baseball. If you take a look at pitcher's ERA's now, you can tell that something is wrong with the sport, and that hitters have some unfair advantage, most likely steroids.

i like the tight, low scoring games. in games like this, it brings out the real stars in the sense that every little hit, pitch, and catch are worth that much more.
