I'm happy he's gone. Just watching him after it was decided the Sox were going to take his pitiful fielding/throwing errors off 3rd base and replace him with a more dependable Bregman was enough for me. Then, refusing to make any effort towards helping out at first when Casas went down............. DONE!!
Don't know how he was in the locker room but what kind of message does it send to the rest of the team when the supposed "super star " refuses make the effort. Besides, Toro, Mayar, Gonzalez, Narváez and now Anthony have stepped in and are taking advantage of the PT and are making solid contributions. Sox just need to find someone that can evaluate pitching talent and get some good young arms in the fold and quit dealing with worn out IL surgically repaired arms like they've been doing the past decade.
