  1. We saw how long the adjustment period was for Bello. Do we get mata in the rotation as soon as possible this year?
  2. I could see all five getting time Boston considering how frail sale and Paxton are, and how overused our bullpen will be by July.
  3. Our bullpen is significantly improved our last year’s bullpen. Starting pitching is thin, but if healthy, might be better than last year. Offense has more holes than Swiss cheese.
  4. The minute it was reported that Hang’em Chaim looked into Rojas, who’s contract expires next season, I knew dansby was never an option,
  5. We should start a poll of which team we trade devers to in July? My vote is the Mets.
  6. Zero pitchers in the top 5? Pitiful! I think mata becomes the 2023 version of Bello. I think Bleis end 2023 in Greenville? I think Murphy gets innings in Boston in 2023. I think Paulino is the 2023 version of refeala!
  7. Devers next deal will be with a team other than the Red Sox.
  8. With Dansby signing with the cubs, Hang’em Chaim is now having to dance a bit for the rest of the offseason.
  9. I see three glaring holes in this lineup: 1.) we need a starter to push houck to the bullpen. 2.) we need a shortstop 3.) we need a power outfielder Ps: we should but sleep on mata. Pre injury his stuff was better than bello’s and this is year 2 post surgery. He could be up in Boston after June.
  10. I would take him in a heartbeat. Not sure what hang’em Chaim is thinking.
  11. Over the last two months of the season, eovaldi’s velocity fell off a cliff. I think Hang’em Chaim realizes eovaldi is cooked. I think the Red Sox are looking at a different Japanese starter for our 2023 rotation.
  12. Yes, I agree 100 percent. Lock up Bello tight as a drum now. It is not only the rays we are being outsmarted by, it is also the braves. And the braves would definitely lock up young talent like Bello and houck and Whitlock!
  13. I think we sign someone for the short term. Gionta for instance. We can also use hernandez on the infield if we can find a power hitting outfielder to trade for.
  14. I like the Miller signing.
  15. I would like to see another lefty added to this group.
  16. Yoshida is an excellent signing. Now we need the Japanese starting pitcher. A left handed reliever and a short stop.
  17. And we lost reliever politi.
  18. Does anybody have a clue what hang’em Chaim’s strategy is this offseason?
  19. We need a closer bad. The 22 bullpen blew about half their save opportunities. We can not have another year of that type incompetence, Hang’em Chaim has proven completely incompetent in two areas: 1.) building competent bullpens. 2.) drafting pitchers early in the draft. He needs to fix number 1 this offseason or we are so screwed for 23.
  20. Rule 5 draft coming up: 3 pitchers that might interest Hang’em Chaim are: Murray, grammes and Sikkima.
  21. 4 step plan to get back to the playoffs: 1.)sign Correa (replace bogey and has a great relationship with Cora); 2.) sign stndergard and kubler (starting pitching depth) 3.) trade for a power right fielder that can play good defense 4.) secure a closer for the bullpen
  22. We have a lot of middle infield prospects in our system and very light on quality outfielder and pitching prospects.
  23. Happy thanksgiving everybody.
  24. Devers, yorke and winkleman to the angels for othani.
  25. What would it take to sign deGrom to a three or four year deal. 140 million or 175 million? Or does degrom’s violent delivery means he will continue have arm troubles in the future?
