  1. The cracks are starting to show............. https://nypost.com/2025/05/09/sports/red-sox-teammates-reactions-revealed-as-rafael-devers-wages-war-against-front-office/
  2. This could make chicken & beer gate look like child's play.
  3. Not at all. In fact, this past offseason he said he would move off first if they acquired alonso. That's a guy you want on your team.
  4. While some teams might be enticed by casas' upside potential, he hasn't been able to stay healthy the past couple of seasons which may be a red flag for potential trade partners.
  5. I don't think the article implied that raffy diva would be traded for them.
  6. A trade with the NY Mets can help the Red Sox with their Rafael Devers drama dilemma
  7. So, refusing to do what is best for the team is a good teammate? If you believe that, I wouldn't want you in my foxhole.
  8. I disagree, the worst thing he said IMO was telling the front office that they need to "do their job"
  9. The team also doesn't need a "me-first" diva that is criticizing management. And I think they may be able to get something other than prospects. There might be a team that thinks a change in scenery would boost his performance and trade a pitcher for him. IMO, the sox offense has performed better than it's pitching, so it could be just what the team needs.
  10. The part that really gets me is when he said that the front office needs to "do their job and find a first baseman". If I were the GM, that would be the final straw. He'd be on the first train outta town.

  12. Nonsense, it's certainly not "micromanaging" the team. He's asking the player to do what is in the best interest of the team, which is exactly what a GM is supposed to do. This lies squarely on raffy.
  13. Lol, like they'd ever lower prices, that's a good one. Of course they pocket money, they're in business. Do you go to work to not make money?
  14. Well, I hope home is "somewhere good", lol. How'd you like Charleston? I have a business partner that lives in a Charleston suburb.
  15. That's a long ride. I hope you're headed somewhere good. I'm going to take the 4 1/2 hr ride to Key West to celebrate Mother's Day for my girlfriend.
  16. That and $5 will get you a Mega Millions ticket.
