    kinda way i see it. they'll be "interested" in everybody, sign nobody, make a minor trade and continue to act like a small-market team. their main strategy appears to be trade for or sign fringy (cheap) players and HOPE things work out.

    Kyle Tucker is going to sign for a jillion dollars in the next couple of months, because he is the big prize in the FA market, yet his bWAR last year was less than Duran's. the same Duran that some people think is worth little to nothing. in fact, his bWAR ranks 29th and ahead of superstars like Machado, Vladdy, and Ketel Marte.

    i'm on board with trading an outfielder -even Duran. for pieces of equal value that we truly need and will help win games. Vientos and Tong are anything but that. not even close.
