    Sandoval is playing catch to 90' .😂😂 the first thing the f***ing stiff does is trade a healthy Sale for a bag of chips because he had a history of being injured. a year later the doofus signs this POS for $18 and he will never throw the first pitch for the Red Sox. what a clusterf*** of a front office.

    too bad they don't have a proven GM, in house, that could just take over. a GM that had won a couple of World Series maybe.

    the Sox are now on pace to finish 67-95 and score 620 runs, which is not far off the post-war all time low of 599 in 1992. so yeah, great job Breslow, you f***ing stiff.

    i still think it's stupid. only guy i can think in the last 10-15 years they should have "locked up" early is Mookie.

    if it can still go bad or really bad, then why is there a need to do this? it's not like he's cranking out 30-35 home runs a year or OPSing .800. like Bello's and Campbell's, it's another needless extension that the Sox will eventually be upside-down on.

    i never mentiond any $217M contracts, i just think it's f***ing insane to be paying a starting AAA outfielder $7M a year because he *might* one day be good enough to get $30M a year. this contract, like Bello's, looks stupid as hell.

    we just see it different. i'm not against paying them; i just want to see them do something worth paying for rather than paying them for nothing.

    at the time, i thought it was stupid and completely unneccessary. and like i've said a hundred times before.......i'm not against extensions, i just think they should wait a bit longer.

    so glad the Sox gave KC that big contract because, as Joe Brady said, "...all the other teams are doing it". and that's always a good idea. 😂

    no doubt the big contracts rarely work out. i won't disagree. Ranger Suarez was over 30 when they signed him. do you think that was a mistake?

    i know some like what Bloom did, but to me, signing Story was just another in a long line of failures by Bloom. i hated the deal then and it's only gotten worse.

    i'm sure they shopped him all last winter. i'm guessing his market is not the $18million US dollars a year that CHime Bloom thought it was.
