  1. Some people think they actually stole Whack a, and Paxton from all the other teams.
  2. Do you really think that Paxton, and Whack a were in great demand from other clubs, and would even be on the Sox wish list if Bloom had a big allowance to spend?
  3. Sounds like some to much.
  4. Must be nice to have a washing machine for a favorite toy, but going around the spin cycle to many times had made someone wishy washy.
  5. It must be great to be an expert, but I don’t know how far polishing a turd will get you.
  6. Thin skin at its finest, and keep the name calling up. It’s hilarious.
  7. You are entitled to your opinion even if you are the only one that thinks like that, but God forbid if someone disagrees with you. I guess you just think that your opinion is only the right one.
  8. Still with the name calling. How childish.
  9. The point was that they have more info than the casual fan, but not more than all the other clubs, and the other clubs aren’t picking these players the Sox have.
  10. I think all of the above.
  11. Give me 1 thing I lied about, and remember you have lied about me on here, and even admitted it on here.if your honest you will admit it again.
  12. I was talking about his lineups, trades, or signings.
  13. You gave me an early Christmas present, so don’t take it back now. I know you think you are the pulse of Red Sox nation on here, and I watch, and listen to talk shows from Maine to Boston, and I read papers from Maine to Boston, so I know there is a big world out there with different opinions. Everyone is entitled to have an opinion, and not everyone is going to agree, but some don’t like it to have a different view on something. I listen to viewers from all walks of life, and form my own opinions, but differ greatly when I here over exaggerated views like Cora made less mistakes than any manager in baseball last year, Kike is the best CF the RedSox ever had, and Schwaber is so great he should be signed to a lifetime contract, which none of all the other all time great Red Sox players never got just to name a few. Like I said before I’m not into name calling, and like all the kind words I get, because it’s like another plan comes together.
  14. You said it different than I did, but I think we pretty much agree that JH is more stingy with his money than he was just a few years ago.
  15. Name the last time anything of his wishes, hopes, or predictions came true. I’m just saying.
  16. Only time will tell.
  17. Overtly question? Saying he’s for either one is overtly questioning something? Kind of a weak argument.
  18. The problem is the Red Sox front office doesn’t have more information than all the other teams front offices have.
  19. Bloom doesn’t have a fat checkbook in Boston, and that is why he was brought here, so does he really have much of a choice on what kind of deals he makes? Like I said before Theo, and Dombrowski couldn’t, and wouldn’t work like this. Bloom has to.
  20. Pipe dreaming again is fine, but none of your pipe dreams ever come true.
  21. You’re great at sitting on the fence, and waiting to see what happens, before you make a choice worrying it won’t be the right one. Be brave.
  22. Paxton’s surgery was later than Sales, so it will probably be later if he comes back at all next year, so don’t count on any boost.
  23. The rest of baseball going nutty I agree with, but isn’t looking more, and more that the Sox are just going to ride out next year with Bogey, and that will be his last year in Boston. I can’t see the Sox paying him anything close to $300M. Then just letting Raffy play out his last two years, and let him follow Bogey on the same path out of town, because I can’t see the Sox shelling out close to $400M for him either.
  24. The great Heaney? Surperb Matz? How do you know how hard the Sox were going after these so called great arms? Do you what any of the offers were?
  25. I don’t know why it took you so long to figure this out, but my read on this is that you might not get anything out of him next year at all, but if he gets healthy, and gives you 2 years of decent pitching after that it pretty much comes down to $35M for 2 years of pitching. Lots of ifs in there, but I would have rather had E Rod. Not to mention your also spending $8M more on Whack a.
