  1. while it is certainly a doubles haven, it is better than league avg for HR's too I believe
  2. I agree with you on that. People on here all the time talk about hang 'em chaim's "MO" or "track record". He doesn't really have much of one to judge by as he was never the man in charge before
  3. Understood, but I'm sure you would agree that Dodger Stadium is generally not very kind to hitters.
  4. Keep in mind, that was with playing his home games in a very pitcher friendly park. Those numbers might look a little different if half his games took place in the bandbox known as fenway.
  5. And you know this because you discussed it with him over tea and crumpets during the Memorial Day weekend?
  6. Why not see if they'll throw in harper and tanner rainey too. SMH.........
  7. Ok, now the only reason the nats would trade soto is because they know they can't afford to sign him long term. Now why in the world would they trade him for a lesser player who is 6 yrs older and is demanding a huge contract??!! Congrats on winning dumbest post of the month and it's only June 1st.......
  8. The easy way to sum it up is to just say the sox pretty much need a bullpen......
  9. Look at the bright side, at least the orioles lost and they didn't gain any ground on the sox......
  10. They were lucky to avoid the shut out.....
  11. Or it could be the scene when the Griswolds get to Wally World.....
  12. Well, they avoided a 2nd straight shut out thanks to votto, but still pretty miserable to get blown out/shut out by the orioles and then lose to the reds, both at home.
  13. Looks like they are coming to life
  14. To be fair, the sox are a losing team as well.....
  15. Yanks just crushed the halo's 9-1......
  16. At home to 2 of the worst teams in baseball. I wonder when was the last time that happened.
  17. Doesn't really interest me all that much.
  18. I have no idea, sounds like a job for moonslav
  19. Umm, exactly my point captain obvious.......
  20. Did they trade him? Yes, they did, that is referred to as "sent packing".
  21. I would venture to say every team in baseball has had players like that.
  22. My view has not changed due to his contract demands, IMO he was never a top 3 player. Is he very good, certainly, top 3, no way.
  23. That would really depend on the performance of whitlock's replacement in the rotation.
  24. Agreed, and there was one poster in here, I forget who, that was claiming devers was a top 3 player in baseball
  25. What does whether or not he gets re-signed have to do with it?
