  1. The flip side is ref's HR would have expanded the lead had wacha not put them in an early hole.
  2. I agree that you go with who is performing better right now. And I've never really been a big fan of jbj.
  3. Let's not get carried away. While ref has certainly performed well this year in a very small sample size, jbj has a higher career OPS+
  4. houston beating up on the mets, 4-0 in the 3rd.
  5. According to max that is correct
  6. Never claimed any of that, troll.
  7. He's doing his best seabold impression.
  8. How so? He's pitched pretty well so far this year and if he stinks it up you DFA him.
  9. I think JP Sears certainly deserves a spot, especially with so many Yankee starters on presumed innings limits. Just surprised that it came at the expense of Banuelos. He definitely would be worth a shot for any team looking for left handed relief help
  10. I am not vaxxed, never wear a mask, don't social distance and am out in the crowds every weekend. Never had even a sniffle, much less covid.
  11. I didn't watch him pitch last night so I really can't comment on that. But he certainly has been a pretty strong pitcher this season, even with a hiccup against the orioles. Every pitcher gets hit from time to time.
  12. Who in this coming Free Agent class would you like to see the sox sign for the OF provided they don't acquire a longer term solution at this trade deadline? This is the list of the coming FA outfielders on spotrac https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/free-agents/outfield/
  13. Certainly could be a good pitching match up.
  14. Hardly arguing with myself. You are what your record says you are. That has nothing to do with garnering a playoff spot in June. SMH.....
  15. Nope, he defended him earlier today, "it's only his first 2 yrs and his last 2 yrs that he was a bad hitter" and "I guess his 2 years in a row hitting over .800 was not enough, bec ause his BA was only .262."
  16. Umm, if the Yanks don't make the playoffs then where they were in the standings on June 28th is irrelevant. Pretty simple.
  17. And it's a fact that the playoffs don't start in June, so whether a team is in a playoff spot right now is irrelevant.
  18. As you have chosen to ignore his incessant defense of jbj and proclaiming he's his favorite player.
  19. Nope, just stated what is painfully obvious.
  20. Exactly how is this luck? The catcher made a couple of bad plays.
  21. And if the queen had balls she'd be king.
  22. The orioles are closer to the sox than the sox are to the Yanks.
