  1. It's not as easy when you're not playing last year's last place team, the only club you've finished ahead in years.
  2. Just Drill-it Martinez has more hits than the rest of the batting order combined this past week.
  3. How many ties do we have when ERod throws a shutout and we don't score?
  4. WOW! Quick, Moon, what's the Sox' record when ERod goes 5 scoreless?
  5. What's the catcher sign for lower, like underground?
  6. Good, now just put him on. Nats have one more big league bat on deck.
  7. Good 1-2. More of that.
  8. Better. Pitch around his bat.
  9. Terrible 0-2 to the MLB batting leader.
  10. 0-2. Nothing near his bat!
  11. Pitch around Soto. You've still got second base and third base open.
  12. DON'T slow down the speed so he can time it
  13. 0-2. Don't throw anything near his bat
  14. Two down. Any base...
  15. Big out. Now ERod just needs to induce a DP grounder. Then the fielders just need to convert it.........................................
  16. Notice Washington batters swinging from the heels trying to hit 10-run homers every at bat? Me, neither.
  17. That was an order. Throwing an 0-2 near Bell's bat was not.
  18. The Kings of Pop Culture.
  19. Scoreless game -- not really going to challenge Soto, right?
  20. Good point. Management and ownership owe it to -- not just the fans -- but also the nation and the world -- to cut the crap. And I do mean "cut" as in fire employees, including those in uniform, if they won't cooperate, to the detriment of the product in their business. I don't care what the union forbids -- to me, it's worth a work stoppage by owners to negotiate common sense rules to ensure another preventable club-demic doesn't repeat itself.
  21. That might be the worst defensive starting line-up Sox fans will ever see. Remember the image of ERod spiking his glove after giving up the home run to Puig in the World Series? He may have to be pulled even earlier than usual tonight, from sore arm anger every time the Nats make contact.
  22. And IF they miss the postseason by one single game, hopefully people will look back at 2021 and point to the span when their $30 million dollar per year pitcher was forced to miss a start, and their $20 million dollar All-Star shortstop and clean-up man missed an entire week (not to mention their leadoff batter and others). I know I will.
  23. Right, it was incredible that they had a contagious virus rage through the team clubhouse/dugout/bullpen/airplane/bus smack-dab in the middle of a pandemic, three months after the vaccination was available to everyone over the age of 12.
  24. Plus, my son was yelling at him for not stopping all those bounced pitches that Richards spiked into the Earth. Versus the Baltimore Orioles.
