I called the Kyle Trade last year very early ask Moon .This year Blooms in a pickle and up to now I really thought something could be worked out with X so this leads me to believe X asking price is far higher than anyone has thought .My personal thoughts if this is the case trade him now then .I would trade for an expiring contract like Brandon Drury in Cincy is it a sexy trade ? Nope but don’t think we warrant one now .Drury can play 2b and OF and fill in at 3b and he just might warrant a second thought this winter ? I don’t know .Next it’s everyones pick in Josh Bell and although he’s no masher he’s a solid 1B stop gap for Boston if Casas ever shows more promise .I am over hating on Bloom it’s been an aweful year with players like Kike who I would extend and Power outages from X again and Verdugo .I would not DFA JBJ but he would take on a roll as mentor for Duran and understand he will be a late inning defensive replacement here as long as he’d like .JBJ has a future as a Coach here and I’d like Cora and Bloom to start this process and discuss that with him now .Cora has made some horrible decisions of late but he’s just throwing baloney against the garage .Bloom likely has had thoughts the last 12 weeks of how kikes play and Injury along with Barnes play and upcoming DFA has effected this years team .we cannot shutdown Sale he’s plenty capable of taking over a slot in this haggered BP and with Whitlock at the end of games a tweak to 1b and adding a switch blade on the cheap like Drury we may catch lightning who knows ? Bloom has been horrific for Boston .He has never Addressed 1b even last year he signed Kyle and tried to make him one stupid terrible move and even then he jettisoned the guy who would have made an adequate DH LF candidate ..He then jettisoned Hunter for an all glove and declining all glove JBJ ?
