    We have needed help for along time and Bloom again this year just like last year has waited and waited and waited for the Boston Redsox to implode again and again .Chaim Bloom is a horrific choice to lead this team .Tonight was supposed to be a hopeful and joyous day for Ortiz but because we have fielded a AAA team again we have humiliated the fans and organization.I don’t trust John Henry at this point to do what’s right and fire Chaim and regroup . .

    Agree ! But teams like The Reds or Oakland As ,cubbies ,Nats ,Pirates ,Rockies all have valuable players .Im kinda pumped up to see what goes down ! Ian Happ ? Josh Bell ? Brandon Drury ? Sean Murphy ? I’d make a trade immediately though and not dumpster dive .

    Sean Murphy ? Chaim mentions maybe dealing to strengthen a strength about 8 weeks ago .Murphy is a stud catcher with a cannon for an arm and Pop in his bat .Maybe Chaim can improve the team this year and for next few at Catcher .Vaz can be dealt while he has value to a contending team .

    Tonight maybe best time to deal for Bloom . .But also would be terrific time to extend Bogey .

    Question about QO for Free Agents ? Does the deal for international signing effect if they can actually duck the QO if traded before a deal made ? If so don’t we expect trades tonight by players wanting out if no deal is imminent with current team ?

    Both players are upgrades over what we have if Drury plays 1b RF ? ? Both players would do well at Fenway .Maybe Trade Duran or Verdugo to cincy for Drury and Pitching ? Keep X and make one last run at this .

    Maybe give Drury a first base mitt give Conforto RF ?

    Why not trade Duran and go get Conforto ? Not sure how rusty he is but I’m sure he can handle Boston .Mike has pop and a good throwing arm he’s a better player than Duran and Verdugo on the cheap .Love to see he and Drury get a look by Chaim if he’s going cheap on position players and maybe trade for a starter either in Oakland or Cincy .
