    Late to the thread but this is terrible news. I’m gunna miss him in the booth and the flavor he brought to Red Sox broadcasts. Jim Kelly is one of my favorite athletes and he continues to battle and battle just like he did on the field. He seems to be doing well now. Countless lives have been ruined by this dreaded disease and it seems like everyone has been affected either directly or indirectly. A stupid amount of money is donated every year to cancer research and yet we are still stuck with chemo and radiation. Incomprehensible.

    Boy watching some of these post season games.. it sure seems to be heading in that direction. You get three innings from your table setter aka opener and then mix and match for six innings.

    I can get on board with that. I watched the Braves game last night and despite numerous calls in LA’s favor, the Braves pitchers we’re outstanding but it doesn’t always turn out that way.

    Hey guys.. it was a fun run this year. Winning a post season series is nothing to scoff at. We are rebuilding and gave 2021 a ride but we will be back. Fun chatting about ball with everyone here. Sucks that this is how 2021 had to end but there is only one team that is happy per season. Hopefully 2022 will be our year. The future is bright.

    Tough tough series. I’m not even mad tho. You get outplayed sometimes. It happens. Laz Diaz really was the turning point in this series. If no one wants to go there fine. This team hasn’t been able to pick itself up since game 4. It’s a lack of mental toughness and maybe a lack of leadership in the clubhouse.
