  1. Two RISP. BRING THEM HOME!!!
  2. All right it’s game time. Good luck to the SoX!!! Hopefully we will have a very pleasant game day thread void of any frustration. GO SoX GO!!!
  3. Yep. The WS hung in there and had a 4-2 lead at one point.
  4. Very interesting. I did not know that.
  5. There is Vin Scully and then there is everyone else. Classic voice, classic style and the man had substance. HOWEVER… my favorite is Jon Miller. He used to call games on ESPN with Morgan and I still miss those broadcasts to this day. ESPN’s play by play team is just a shell of what it used to be. The Giants are lucky that they have Jon Miller calling their games.. at least I think he still works there. Just listen to this call by Jon Miller calling a Red Sox postseason game.. perfection.
  6. I live on the west coast. A 7 pm start would work perfectly for me. Do you mind? hehe Game starts at 4 pm local time.. you have to consider that.
  7. Yep. I don't know how much Tampa is paying that guy but every penny that they spent on him is money well spent. It's sickening to be on the wrong side of this kid. That said, Josh fell asleep on the mound and you can't do that whenever there is ANYONE on third.. much less a lunatic like this guy in the post season.
  8. Well if the Red Sox had Arozarena I’m sure Alex would toy with periodically sending him. The guy is a monster on the bases.
  9. Yeah I’m not surprised. SMH. People see what they want to see.. and hear what they want to hear. It’s bias nonsense.
  10. Sale can take command here. He can make a huge statement if he comes out and shuts down the Rays. RSN needs you Chris. DELIVER! Let’s take game two by the throat and come back to Fenway with the series tied 1-1.
  11. Not officially a must win but unofficially.. it is. GO SOX!
  12. Maybe if Mr Zimmer didn’t charge our pitcher… I mean the guy was coming at Martinez. What was Pedro supposed to do? Stand there and take a punch in the jaw? “Ohhh he was 75 years old wah wahh..” My point exactly.. a 75 year old man should have learned to keep his composure and his hands in his pockets a long time ago. Nobody came at him. Nobody. The fact that Yankee fans still fool themselves into thinking that Pedro somehow went out of his way to hurt Zimmer is not only pathetic, but dead wrong. f*** the Yankees and their entitled fan base.
  13. f*** the Yankees. I’m glad that we bent them over. And the way we broke their hearts was sweet. The sweep in the reg season actually set them up for heartbreak which was a big win in Red Sox post season history any way you slice it. I think that we all collectively know that the Rays are the better team in this series. It was all on display in game one and honestly.. it’s tough for me acknowledge but it’s true. The Rays looked as good as the Red Sox did in the WC game i.e., hungry and focused. They committed an error but it was an afterthought because their pitching was stingy as F when we had RISP. When they needed to shut us down, they did. However, we did muster 9 hits and we can all agree that we had some questionable swings at the plate so yes.. it gives me hope that we can make this a series. Tampa did what they SHOULD have done. Win game one at home. That said.. is there any news on JD?
  14. First off, who cares what the Yankee TV channels will be showing. Secondly, why would one team’s channel repeatedly show another teams highlights? Even if Boston wins the next four rings? You sound like a bitter Yankee fan since the Red Sox eliminated them.
  15. That team is hungry and it shows. They look well managed and focused. Would it surprise me if they win the World Series? No. But again.. let’s not just jump the gun here. This series is far from over.
  16. Unfortunately… that play will be shown quite a bit.
  17. Oh ok.. so you’re officially a prisoner of the moment troll. Ciao.
  18. Exactly. This type of reaction is just being a prisoner of the moment. He had a few tough at bats tonight sure, but I do not doubt this kids future, not one bit. The fact that someone on here wants him traded after one game is incomprehensible.
  19. The SOX have to right the ship in game two. Have I mentioned that I hate Tropicana field?!? Every other flippin’ pop fly gets lost in the lights. The SOX had their moments hitting the ball hard but not much with RISP. You simply cannot expect to win when you have two men on with nobody out and you don’t score.
  20. I’m sure he will be asked about it on the postgame show.
  21. Well that’s the cherry on top. Rays were better in every facet tonight. A genuine tip of the cap. But this series is NOT over. The SOX WILL be heard from before it’s all set and done.
  22. ERod was awful. However.. this Rays team? Damn. Put it this way.. I am hoping that they don’t bring everyone back.
