  1. Well, we are all entitled to our opinions but I think there's a difference between greenies and steroids or HGH. But that's my opinion, you may or may not agree. Obviously most of the voters agree as far as the Hall is concerned as there are only a couple of guys like pedro and Pudge that were voted in while guys like Clemens and Bonds have been in limbo.
  2. Because I'm not a big fan of juicers being in the Hall.
  3. Glad you have never made a mistake...... Not to mention the last one I posted was from mlb.com...........
  4. I wasn't aware that he was named as well. That certainly changes my opinion then.
  5. My point was you can find many different predictions with a simple google search. As far as CC is concerned, "more abuse"?? He had a lower ERA (3.65) last season than porcello (4.28) and just a few ticks higher than price (3.58) at a fraction of their respective costs.
  6. Do you take a lot of selfies too?
  7. From what I read it sounded more like he was referring to the front office, not the fans. Damon had an acrimonious divorce with the Red Sox after the 2005 season, which was made worse when he signed with the archrival Yankees, whom he helped win the 2009 World Series. In New York last week, Damon said that "when I left Boston there was a lot of hard feelings, a lot of mistrust and all that stuff," and it very well could have played a role in Tuesday's decision. https://www.nydailynews.com/sports/baseball/yankees/johnny-damon-rejects-move-boston-red-sox-stay-detroit-tigers-article-1.201776
  8. I did a little research. Damon did not want to come back because of the acrimonious split his first time in beantowne. Sounds to me they threw him under the bus on his way out of town like they have done to others. Can't say I blame him and that certainly doesn't make him a traitor.
  9. Right, so me stating a fact is whining and those denying it aren't. Thanks for playing.
  10. I agree, if you don't like it here nobody is holding a gun to your head to stay here. I think this is a pretty well run board.
  11. So the ones defending and denying it over and over?
  12. You'd have to ask him. Or it may have been he figured he would see more playing time elsewhere.......
  13. Hardly whining, I just stated that he was named on the list. The whining was those trying to defend or deny it.
  14. Maybe he didn't like living there? If you had millions would you go somewhere that you didn't want to go?
  15. No, but papi admitted to being on the list. What's your point?
  16. Did Ruth and Maris' "spikes" coincide with them being named in the report?
  17. American League East: Yankees Despite winning 100 games last year, the Yankees had to settle for an AL Wild Card berth and couldn't get through the eventual World Series champion Red Sox, falling to Boston in a four-game AL Division Series. With the additions of James Paxton, Adam Ottavino and Gio Gonzalez, and the re-signing of CC Sabathia, J.A. Happ and Zack Britton, the pitching staff is as deep as it gets. On the infield, the acquisitions of DJ LeMahieu and Troy Tulowitzki provide depth and solve the issue of Didi Gregorius missing the first part of the season. Among our experts, the Yanks garnered twice as many votes as the Red Sox. 2019 World Series predictions WWW.MLB.COM Opening Day is finally upon us, with the regular season for all clubs except the A's and Mariners (who played two games in Tokyo last week) beginning on Thursday. What does the 2019 season have in store? Will the Red Sox be able to repeat as World Series champions? Or
  18. Good luck this season boys and girls! I hope it's a dog fight til the end.
  19. No, but I know for a fact that he was on the list and his numbers spiked at the same time. Do you disagree with that?
  20. I'm not sure. I think he's a fantastic pitcher, but I would be concerned about his health after breaking down last season. He's built like a bean pole, I'd be worried about how he holds up given that he'll be 30yrs old in a couple of days.
  21. Again, he was not a life-long sawx player, hardly a traitor.
  22. There's less than a year difference between him and sale.
  23. That would be cool!!
  24. I never said he was great. But he certainly put up a heckuva lot more WAR than tek did..............
