Kinsler's misplay was a game changer that eventually led to a loss. His baserunning gaffes were almost as bad. His AB's continue to be weak. He does well on shallow infield pop-ups, like my 111 year old grandson.
But the goats of this loss rest in the noted 0-28 AB's managed by the top 4 in the lineup. Betts has become a clueless hitter with no sense of the zone. Bogaerts is a waver at pitches, Moreland cannot hit with his funky skip and pull out moves. JDM--needs to carry the load nightly. Cora's lineup sandwiching Martinez between Moreland and Holt was odd.
The Sox bullpen and especially Eovaldi kept this game available to be won, and the hitters choked. They were the GOATS of Chavez Ravine. Do you want fries with that concession stand cabrito ?
At this point, it's hard to care who wins BUT, I would not let Eovaldi take the chance of a loss on another Kinsler error. Pomeranz gets paid to pitch, let him f*** up this gem by Nate. Move on and play again in a few hours, if anyone can stand up
With all the failures at the plate tonight by your studs, you think the guy playing hard is a drama queen ? Maybe he could have avoided the fall, but maybe Eovaldi should have K'ed Puig too. That is a cheap shot at this time of night. the drama dropouts are Betts and Bogaerts .
This game has messed up the next two in LA. The winner is energized and the loser may take a awhile to think about it. The early pitching and now Eo's was very good but no excuse for either sides hitters to suck wind like a hurricane.
Never, ever forget that late July pickup, perennial loser Ian Kinsler, had this game in his hand but got his feet twisted and did not know what to do with a baseball, afetr 20 plus years of playing the game.
This game is a joke. The umpire and inability of any of the All-Stars to scratch their ass, waiting for walks. It is not enjoyable nor entertaining. Just walk away mookie.
Absolutely. Puig had the ability to beat you. Put him on set up the force, pitch to a .205 hitter. Awful decisions tonight Now you can just bleed to death
