  1. Yankees just got 4 runs with two outs and nobody on in the 8th.
  2. Ottavino will be pitching in high leverage situations for the rest of the season and the playoffs.
  3. O needed some worked tonight. Hadn't pitched in a while.
  4. Braiser looks like he can be of help in the post season since Barnes probably won't be on the roster. Getting Whitlock back will be key.
  5. The Mets remind me a lot of the Orioles.
  6. Plus Kike is a much better hitter than JBJ.
  7. Casas homers tonight for Worcester!
  8. He is just not confident right now but he deserves a lot of credit for the first half the Sox had. Lets not forget that.
  9. Casas made his AAA debut tonight.
  10. Barnes is a shell of his former self. Wow. Can't finish an inning with an 11-2 lead.
  11. Texas has blown the 3-0 lead. Now tied 3-3. Yankees will probably win. Sox need at least 1 win against the Yankees. Two would be huge. Yankees finish with 3 at Toronto and 3 at Tampa Bay. I don't see Tampa coasting in. They will want to stay sharp and knocking out the Yankees would make them happy. I am sure they don't want to see the Yankees in the playoffs. Sox should get 4-6 against Orioles and Nationals. Maybe 5-6.
  12. Sox need to save some of these runs for the Yankee series.
  13. Can Renfroe have close to the same kind of year next year? No guarantees.
  14. Durbin Feltman, hard throwing 2018 3rd round pick just went 8-1 with 2.90 ERA between Portland and Worcester. He has a good chance to be in the bullpen next season. He closed for both teams. Per Sox press release:" In his last 11 games for the WooSox, the right-hander has posted a 1.08 ERA (2 ER/16.2 IP) with 18 strikeouts and only three walks. Selected by the Red Sox in the third round of the 2018 June Draft, Feltman has averaged 10.79 strikeouts per 9.0 innings."
  15. How did they miss that on review? LOL!
  16. Schwarber's contribution has been HUGE. I'm not just talking about his stats. He is great in the clubhouse and it is obvious that Red Sox hitters have become more selective and patient since they have been able to watch Kyle at the plate. His influence on Dalbec has been tremendous, as Dalbec has acknowledged.
  17. Why wouldn't he want to stay with the best franchise in baseball and play before sell out crowds every night. I hope the Sox bring him back too. It will depend on how much he wants because Arroyo is fairly cheap.
  18. This was a great pick up by Bloom. He has been very valuable since arriving. Bloom brought in Schwarber, Robles, Davis and Iggy without giving up much.
  19. Kyle Schwarber=Professional Hitter. Sox have to find a way to sign him for next year and beyond.
  20. Nice job by Davis. He has looked much better of late.
  21. Cheap off the end of the bat hit by Pillar.
  22. AB R H HR RBI SB Ave OBP OPS 378 76 123 14 62 13 .325 .412 .928 2020 1st round pick, Nick Yorke, age 19, put together a great season. By far the youngest player on Portland's team at AA although spent most of the season in Class A. Looks like he will be a useful major league player.
