    Sox squander first and second no outs and now their #9 hitter doubles on an 0-2 count. This team is just inventing new ways to lose.

    Yep. Dumb I think. If its over his head he scores anyway. If he catches it he has to be tagging. I think whoever coaches base running should be fired.

    As much as I enjoyed watching the Sox for most of the season, the last month has been painful and tonight is no exception.

    Most 12 year olds would have caught the ball Renfroe dropped. There is no excuse for a major league player not catching that ball. That is ridiculous.

    A year or so ago, there were those who were complaining about Nate's contract. Those voices have been silenced. The way he has pitched this year, he is a bargain.

    Sox need a couple of crooked numbered innings to take some of the pressure off of EO and the bullpen.

    Xander does not look good at the plate tonight.

    Every game from here on out is a "must win" if the Sox want to make the play offs. I just don't see a lot of intensity from most of the players. Too many easy outs without really battling the pitcher.

    They got Schwarber and Sale after the deadline. Robles has been so so. That should have been enough but between Covid and careless and uninspired baseball by the other players, they are where they are now.

    I want Schwarber back next season. Power and plate discipline. Other guys can learn from him.
