  1. It's better to be lucky than good. At this point the Sox are neither.
  2. The 3rd base coach is well aware of the Sox lack of offense. He's seen too many Sox runners die at 2nd and 3rd.
  3. The best way for the Sox to win at Fenway is to replace about 70% of the team.
  4. Today's weather at Fenway is a good representation of this Sox team.
  5. "Ah, just one more question, Mr Vegas. Where were you the night your partner was murdered?"
  6. Imagine how much worse this offense would be w/o Contrares? The basement would have a cellar.
  7. I like Lou, but for the home games Denis Leary s/b in the booth.
  8. Lately, Abreu has been throwing the ball farther than he's been hitting it.
  9. Gray being extra careful because he knows if he gives up a run, the game could be over.
  10. IMHO, for the Sox to add a good power bat to the line-up Arias will have to be part of the package.
  11. And the fans who do show up don't HAVE to be there. Those with season tickets are screwed.
  12. To many who show up for these games it's a tourist attraction, similar to visiting the pyramids.
  13. Crochet coming back is really important. Maybe he can bat 2nd in the line-up.
  14. C'mon Vegas. You could have let Fred believe it ended 4-1. What harm would it have caused?
