  6. Eventually, the Angels are going to have to come up with another ton of money to keep Otani.
  7. The Angels had a choice. They could keep the best player in baseball for a ton of money and not contend or they could have traded him for parts that may have made the team a contender.
  8. He's got a little Manny in him.
  9. Remi, Pedroia and The Rooster. All 3 left everything on the field every game they played. True Dirt Dogs.

  14. Unfortunately in all team sports whether a team wins by one or a hundred it only counts as one win. Been that way forever and I doubt it will change. However, with all the rule changes in baseball, who knows. Maybe the powers that be will come up with a rule that if a team wins by a certain number of runs it will count as 2 wins. I seriously doubt that will happen, but I also seriously doubted they would ever start extra inning games with a runner at second, so who knows?
  15. 8-1. Much more Fenway-like.
  16. Everyone has their favorite eye candy. Some like SNICKERS, others like BUTTERFINGERS.
  17. Rice used to hit into a ton of them, because he had the bad habit of hitting everything hard.
  18. My favorite James Bond movie is FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE. It had a very Hitchcockian feel to it.Robert Shaw was his usual excellent self.
  19. My favorite Hitchcock film is SHADOW OF A DOUBT. Joseph Cotton was excellent in his portrayal of a serial killer.
  20. Speaking of movies, if you have the PRIME app, please check out the S.Korean film I SAW THE DEVIL. It's similar to SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, but much more graphic. Not for the weak of stomach.
  21. Kim Novak and Angie Dickinson(especially in her POLICE WOMAN days) were high calorie eye candy.
