  1. No one will ever give EO a bad grade on his competiveness.
  2. Devers will be Devers, which means he's the guy who probably scares opposing pitchers more than anyone in the league.
  3. I predict in the not too distant future that Dugo will be the lead-off hitter.
  4. A fastball with no movement is asking for trouble.
  5. Prior to that HR, Devers was batting .190 off of fastballs, which makes no sense at all. I'm guessing that stat will improve drastically.
  6. EO was definitely pitching to contact that inning.
  7. Judge would never win the Kentucky Derby.
  8. Employment section of Boston Globe: Wanted: Lead-off batter. Experience required. Contact the Boston Red Sox Front Office.
  9. Let's hope it's a fabulous night for a MOON WIN.
  10. After watching last night's BRUINS' O/T win against the Isles, I don't think I have any excitement left in me.
  11. Perez's career stats, to be kind, have not been very good. He's now 30 years old and some pitchers have been known to figure out their game later in their career. Let's hope such is the case for Mr Perez.
  12. Cy Young was a good guess though. Babe Ruth is another when you're not sure.
  13. Good point. I would say though that a closer's ERA is an important stat, only because closers usually start an inning.
  14. My friend(internet) said it was Chris Sale on 6/05/19.
  15. Excellent performance by Perez and the 3rd quality start in a row by SOX pitchers in this series.
  16. Of the SOX 3 best pitchers, only one will face the Yankems this weekend. Btw, Cole gave up 5 earned runs in 5 innings as the Yankems lost 9-2.
  17. This HP chUMP has been bad for both teams. The ineptness of the many HP chUMPS has pretty much completely erased what used to be known as the strike zone.
  18. I was referring to their spots in the current rotation. Richards is 3, Pivetta is 4, and Perez is 5.
  19. Is it possible the SOX have the best 3, 4, and 5 starters in the AL?
