    Offensively and defensively the SOX are very good. It's that third ingredient that's lacking, which will hurt. Will Sale return? How long before E-rod is injured again? Kudos to EO for his performances so far.

    With Verdugo in the line-up the SOX 1-6 is a very good stretch of hitters. 7-9?

    Don't know how many games this SOX team will win this year, but ya gotta love the enthusiasm of this team. Also, it's obvious that VAZ, thru hard work, has made himself into a top-shelf hitter.

    Off topic: Just wanted to send kudos out to Josh Donaldson for speaking out about the umpiring in MLB as being pathetic and free of accountability. IOW, pretty much what I and other posters on this forum have been saying for the last few years. Will his speaking out change anything? Yup, it will reduce the amount of cash in his pocket after the fine, but, as for improving the umpiring; not a chance.

    It just came to me about why JD is struggling this year. It's so obvious it was hidden. The reason is that there's no Brock Holt in the dugout for JD to hug and dance with after a HR. Case solved!
