I watched a video earlier today where they had Chavis Mic'd up during a couple of innings during a spring training game. Very likable and intelligent young man. I wish him the best.
This is no disrespect on Bloom, I think he's done a great job, but the unexpected success of this team, so far, may have put a crimp in Bloom's plans for this season. I would have to think that Bloom is as surprised as the rest of us where the SOX are right now.
That is funny. It's really got to be difficult to build a successful baseball team with a limited budget that's actually playing their games on a football field. Just added proof of how great a GM Billy Beane is and always has been.

I remember how much criticism Kimbrel took because he caused so much drama closing a lot of games. Playing for Boston is not easy and closing for Boston; that's even more stressful.
With all that foul territory pitching half of your games in that ballpark has to lower your ERA. OTOH, as a batter playing half your games there definitely has to lower your BA.
