  1. I doubt the SOX could get rid him any other way.
  2. I certainly hope it's not Keith.
  3. F'ing JD. Hey, Moon, if the SOX had to eat 50% of JD's remaining contract next season in order to trade him, would you be fine with that or is that too much.
  4. Sounds like you're describing Dick Radatz before he hurt his arm.
  5. Plawecki has a chicken wing for an arm.
  6. The amazing thing about Mo wasn't that he only had one pitch, the amazing thing was that he hardly ever made a mistake when he threw it.
  7. Houck's future is the BP. You only need two good innings there and two good pitches.
  8. A beautiful demonstration of how a drunk would go after a fly ball.
  9. Jays leading Rays 3-0 in the 2nd. With their devastating offense and 2 very good starters in Ray and Berrios, Toronto has a great chance of making it to the WS.
  10. When you went to sleep last night, the SOX woke up.
  11. Game time is 4:10, not 4:05. My bad.
  12. T.Houck 0-4 3.54ERA vs M.Gonzales 8-5 4.03ERA Kike Renfroe Bogey Devers JD Schwarber(LF) Dalbec Plawecki Iggy Need a continuation of that offense from last night.
  13. Moon, you and your numbers. You are truly amazing. Btw, anytime a player tops Ted Williams in any SOX offensive stat is truly noteworthy.
  14. Dalbec's HR last night gave him 30 for his career. He's done it in 143 games, which makes him the 3rd fastest to reach 30 in SOX history. Only Walt Dropo and Tony C. did it in fewer games, 121 and 131, respectively. Btw, Teddy Ballgame reached 30 in his 144th game.
  15. That was some good stuff. The one that stood out as 'one in a trillion', imho, was the hole-in-one. I would label that 'one in two trillion.'
  16. The Monster. Mickey Mantle was once asked "who was the toughest pitcher you ever faced?" Mickey's answer "Dick Radatz. I knew he was going to throw me fastballs and I still couldn't hit them."
  17. SOX trying to provide drama and doing a good job of it. Where's Dick Radatz when you need him?
  18. Never too late for another error. Dalbec makes that play.
  19. Well, at least now I know why the Mariners are in contention; they've got Andriese.
  20. Holy cow, there's our Andriese pitching from the Seattle BP and he just tried to cripple Devers.
  21. If the SOX win this one, I'll be 5-1 over my last 6 opening game threads. I'll be calling my agent, Boreass, to look into renegotiating my forum contract. I'm thinking 100 million/5 years.
  22. Throwing strikes is a challenge to many of the SOX pitchers, even if there isn't a consistent strike zone anymore.
