    I think Sale will pitch this season. I doubt he'll be the old Sale, but even if he's 80% of his old self, he'll still be the SOX best starter.

    Why do we want E-rod in the pen. The SOX already have Andriese.

    Sale is probably the SOX main hope; Whitlock probably won't be available as a starter until next year. Houck is not rated that high as a prospect, and Seabold I know nothing about. It would be great if Houck succeeds, but a starting pitcher coming thru the SOX farm has the odds stacked against him.

    Does anyone know why fly balls to the OF are called Elephants' Azzholes? Answer: They're high and they stink.

    Talking about X-man, not Devers, but it would be true of Devers, also. The minor leagues are full of good gloves and no bats.

    No disrespect for Wander, but he couldn't have asked for an easier starting pitcher to begin his major league career against. I'm not sure if it won't be just as easy tomorrow. Number 1 priority for SOX is starting pitching and I have no idea how they're gonna get it. It won't be from the farm; I'm pretty certain of that.

    The Rays' farm system produces some excellent crops, while the SOX farm system of late reminds me of Grapes of Wrath.

    It appears that E-Rod was only a blind squirrel for 4 innings.

    I call Bogey a plus batsman and an average defender. However, plus batsman are much harder to find than plus defenders.

    When the Rays are mentioned, my first thought is pitching and defense. When the SOX are mentioned, my only thought is offense.

    Btw, the SOX are scheduled to play the Rays 13 more times after the trade deadline. Hopefully, these will be meaningful games for the SOX.
