  1. Tampa signed Hill for one year at 2.55 million dollars. Pretty good bang for the buck.
  2. The SOX have an offensive handicap that their opposition does not have. The SOX handicap is that they do not get to bat against their own starters.
  3. I wouldn't call it pitching; pitching requires skill. Throwing would be the more accurate verb.
  4. The SOX may have had a starting staff as bad as this, but I'm pretty sure no 1st place SOX starting staff was as bad as this.
  5. In the words of Tonto: "What you mean we, white man?"
  6. No matter how much Santana sucks, the SOX main problem is still starting pitching. Thank you, Capt Obvious.
  7. Richards is a stopper. He stops opposing team's losing streaks.
  8. Well, that makes sense. When any of the SOX starters throw under 20 pitches in an inning, then I'm confused.
  9. Hello, kids. What time is it? It's come from behind time.
  10. Nevermind, this chUMP has no clue.
  11. The chUMP is squeezing Richards.
  12. Why do the SOX continue to help the Rays?
  13. Renfroe's been hot at the plate, so trying to steal 3rd was not too smart.
  14. Maybe he wants to go on tour with Elton John.
  15. "Oh, Danny boy, the DFA is calling."
  16. Barnes has been a damn good closer for the SOX, but, based on his stats, it appears that the Brewers' Hader is the best in MLB.
  17. Just finished playing L.A. Woman by The Doors and will continue to do so for as long as the SOX keep winning.
  18. As of now the SOX are breaking all the established rules for a 1st place team. Weak starting pitching, below average defense, and not winning more at home. So, how are they in 1st place? 1)strong bats from 2-6(I'm now including Renfroe) in the line-up. 2)timely hitting from the weaker bats. 3)a surprisingly good BP that includes a great closer. 4)most importantly a team that never gives up (24 come from behind wins). That being said, I have no answer why the SOX aren't performing better at Fenway. I, also, have no answer why the SOX are playing .667 on the road. But the SOX are in 1st place so I'm gonna enjoy it as long as it lasts.
  19. G.Richards 4-4 4.36ERA vs R.Hill 5-2 3.64ERA "Mr Mojo Risin'" Let's not help the Rays so much tonight. GO SOX!
  20. That's about as easy to explain as the Big Bang Theory.
  21. SOX now 34-0 when they have a 3 or more run lead.
  22. "Hunter gets captured by the game."
  23. A lot of pooping went on in this game.
