  1. Makes me wonder how many teams in recent history got to the LCS and still needed to fix as many holes as the SOX will have to before next season. This 2021 version of the SOX overachieved and I thank them for that.
  2. IMHO, this SOX team did more with less than any SOX team I can remember.
  3. The SOX took 'nowhere' further than it's ever been.
  4. It's amazing what a couple of fans on this thread post. When SOX pitchers hold the opposition to 2 runs or less(very rare) these few fans post "what a great job our pitching staff did." When the opposition's pitcher holds the SOX to 2 runs or less, they post "our hitters really suck." To them only great pitching can come from the SOX.
  5. Hope Bloom can re-sign Iggy. Schwarber, also, but that seems unlikely because I doubt that JD opts out or that the SOX can trade him w/o eating a big chunk of his contract. Oh, well, que sera, sera.
  6. When I don't post 'DEVERS DEliVERS,' that's usually a bad day or night for the SOX.
  7. See ya next season, MOON. You're living proof that SOX fans are the smartest.
  8. They also deteriorated as the BP got worse and worse.
  9. See ya, Jackson. You're not the worst Yankem fan I've ever met. I will credit you on one thing; you have mastered the art of condescending posts.
  10. I don't know. I'd love to see JD batting with his robotic swing and having a robo ump calling the balls and strikes.
  11. f*** Dusty. His young son almost got run over in a PO game. He's baseball smart, but a moron in normal life.
  12. I'll be watching hockey. Baseball for this year ended for me tonight. I'm not even sure I like baseball that much, because 99% of the games I watch are SOX games.
  13. 'Meh?' You stealing from MAX now?
  14. Seeing as how most of these guys are multi-millionaires,I doubt it. Most of the 'sour taste' will be in the mouth of fans who don't understand that the better team won.
  15. I would trade him for a quality pitcher in a New York minute.
  16. It usually comes down to pitching and defense.. If a team doesn't have it, they're screwed.
  17. At least Perez has been consistent.
  18. What it comes down to is that the SOX "didn't score early and often." That has to be the fault of Cora. Bloom will notice this complete failure by Cora and he will fire Cora. I'm 100% positive that Cora told his batters to score 'early and often.' I personally blame it on a 'failure to communicate.'
  19. The SOX went as far as they could go with what they had. They went further than anyone here thought they would and I enjoyed every minute of it. Would I have liked to have seen them go further? Of course. All I can tell you, Tyler, is to perhaps take a chill pill.
  20. Funny how smart a manager can look when his team has better pitching, especially in the BP, than his opposition.
  21. Astros outpitched the SOX.
  22. That would be a great bet.
  23. The SOX swing at bad pitches in nearly every game. The SOX make their living offensively by bashing pitchers' mistakes. The SOX batters haven't seen many mistakes in the last 3 games. So, yes, they're being beaten by good pitching.
  24. 'Dude?' is that still a thing?
