One thing I've definitely learned this season is not to comment on a SOX starter until he's officially out of the game. It will only come back to slap you in the face.

That's a nice line-up. About a month ago or so, Cora wanted Dugo to lead-off, but Dugo made it clear he wouldn't feel comfortable leading off. I doubt his feelings would have mattered if Billy Martin or Dick Williams was managing, but this is obviously a different era of baseball.

Looks like the SOX 1st base problem is solved. Btw, if you're a pitcher with the last name KAY, you're almost obligated to throw a lot of strikeouts.
