    That makes zero sense in that VAZ has caught most of EO's games. So when EO has a good game, EO gets all the credit, but when EO stinks up the place, it's VAZ's fault. Yup, that make sense.

    Like I posted earlier, Max, check the career stats of the 3 bums I listed. When the GM is dumpster diving for starters, the catcher shouldn't have to be Houdini.

    If one looks at the career stats of Richards, Perez, and Pinetta, I guarantee that VAZ wasn't their catcher for their whole time in MLB.

    The weak link is the starting staff. Don't blame the catcher for the feces on the mound.

    If you feel that strongly about the badness of VAZ, maybe you should blame Cora for using him in so many games. You do know that the manager makes out the line-up?

    I've been a fan of Dugo since the SOX acquired him, but now I'm thinking that maybe the SOX do need a LF who can hit for power.

    True, but all good things come to those who wait. Not sure that cliche is true most of the time, but 4 championships in 16 years is a good thing.

    JH didn't want to go over the salary cap and Bloom didn't want to trade 'top prospects.' So this is why the SOX didn't get what they needed to make a serious run to get to the WS. Is it too early to chant "wait till next year?"

    It appears they can seeing that Robles is on the 40 man roster and Schwarber is not.

    But other than that. At least, MAX, you didn't whip a dead horse known as our starting staff, with the exception of EO.

    No complaints here, but it was almost a possibility. 4 championships in 16 years, while most MLB teams haven't even won 1. Again, I repeat, no complaints here.

    In their 4 WS before 2004 and beginning in 1946, the SOX had a record of 12-16, losing all 4 in seven games. In the 4 WS since 2004 the Sox have a record of 16-3. And if it wasn't for Kinsler tripping over his own feet, the record would have been 16-2.

    Btw, I wonder what the SOX history would have looked like if Billy Beane had accepted JH's offer when JH took over the SOX?

    Nope, but from 2017, not counting 2020, he has averaged over 30 HR's per season and has a lifetime OPS of .828.

    I've read that many pitchers who have returned from TJ surgery actually found an increase in their velocity. I know that was the case for Eovaldi.

    Actually, I would prefer a Honda Civic over a Mercedes. Much more reliable. And with the money you'd save, you could buy a very nice stereo system to play DIRTY WATER on.
