    10 million dollars seems an awful lot for a pitcher who hadn't done anything positive for a long time. In fact, I thought the whole point of dumpster diving was not to spend a lot of money.

    Dugo appears to be the type of player who will attract minor injuries for his whole career.

    LOB is beating RUNS by a lot. I mean A LOT.

    JD's not opting out; he has a mansion to maintain. He'll be quite happy with the 19 million guaranteed. I doubt the SOX will even be able to trade him during the offseason w/o eating a lot of his contract. Something the SOX FO is familiar with doing.

    Even uber Rafi is still the best player on this team.

    Well, he did make a nice catch in the field and you ought to see the mansion this guy lives in. He does a walk-thru on youtube. I'm just hoping he'll be more clutch next season for the SOX.

    I guess the least Bloom can do at this point is try to obtain a long-term contract on Devers. Bloom shouldn't have to lose any top prospects to do that.
