Speaking of Buchholz, as the booth was, here's something to chew on. Clay was the last good starting pitcher for the SOX, who was actually drafted by the SOX.

Since being a SOX fan, I've had the pleasure of seeing Williams, Radatz, YAZ, Rice, Manny, Pedro, Ortiz, Pedey and now Devers. That's a pretty good list.
Of course, there's been other very memorable players, but those guys were/are on the top of the shelf.
I envy you. Seeing Teddy Ballgame at Fenway; it doesn't get any better than that. And, as most of us know, he missed almost 5 seasons in his prime.
I always like to tell my friends that Ted Williams was in real life what John Wayne was in the movies. They even had a slight resemblance to each other.
