  1. Well, I hope they find him guilty of being armed and dangerous.
  2. When it comes to the SOX drafting pitchers, 'CRAP' is the definitive word.
  3. Speaking of Buchholz, as the booth was, here's something to chew on. Clay was the last good starting pitcher for the SOX, who was actually drafted by the SOX. That was 17 years ago.
  4. Maybe Oakland should change their nickname to Triple A's.
  5. When JBJ hits the ball to the opposite field, he must be batting around .600.
  6. Nice play by Cordero. I'm guessing Winck has faced similar line-ups in triple A.
  7. At 45-16, the Yankems pretty much own everyone.
  8. I've got a tough quesion. How the hell did this A's team win 21 games?
  9. Since being a SOX fan, I've had the pleasure of seeing Williams, Radatz, YAZ, Rice, Manny, Pedro, Ortiz, Pedey and now Devers. That's a pretty good list. Of course, there's been other very memorable players, but those guys were/are on the top of the shelf.
  10. One thing I've noticed while watching Devers at the plate. He very rarely checks his swing. He's pretty much committed to every swing he takes.
  11. Just call it BREAKING NEWS, Vegas.
  12. No supply chain issues with Devers.
  13. I may have to take out a copywrite on that.
  14. A starter coming up from the SOX farm is always a cause for anxiety, but Winck wasn't drafted by the SOX, so he has that in his favor.
  15. I believe that movie was banned in the BRONX.
  16. I envy you. Seeing Teddy Ballgame at Fenway; it doesn't get any better than that. And, as most of us know, he missed almost 5 seasons in his prime. I always like to tell my friends that Ted Williams was in real life what John Wayne was in the movies. They even had a slight resemblance to each other.
  17. I've only been to Fenway once and that was back in 2012. When they say "everything is greener on the other side," they're referring to Fenway Park.
  18. Yup. The Yankems are light years away.
  19. Especially when you get to see Devers up close and personal. He's worth the price of admission.
  20. Both Dugo and Story have been invisible offensively, but the SOX are still winning. I believe both will get their groove back at the plate.
  21. Not KOJI-like, but at least Houck didn't have to come in.
  22. It's sad the closer has to warm up with a 6-1 lead against this terrible team.
  23. Another great job by Pivetta. He's the ACE of the SOX at this point.
