  1. My bad. Those above stats are based on his history against the O's. d-money is correct; he has been spotty.
  2. Glasnow before tonight was 4-0 with a 2.10 ERA. That's not spotty.
  3. Another player who couldn't hack playing under the bright lights of New York, but is performing quite well under the not so bright lights of Baltimore is Aaron Hicks. Just hit a 3-run homer against the Rays and has been hitting over .300 since becoming an Oriole. So, yes, Dalbec moving to a less pressured environment could be a significant positive change for him.
  4. Boston and New York. If you can make it there, you can make it anywhere. If you can't make it there, you can still make it somewhere else.
  5. And he was able to accomplish his total awfulness in only 46 games managed in 2001.
  6. No one was worse than Kerrigan.
  7. AL Central is a joke and a long running one at that.
  8. Good win. 9 runs should win most games, but the SOX could have scored 15 or more tonight. So those runners they stranded tonight, they will drive in tomorrow.
  9. I don't know if this is likely, but perhaps Paxton would accept a contract like that based on the fact the SOX were paying him for quite a while when he wasn't able to pitch. But, cynical me believes he'll go to whomever pays him the most.
  10. Based on current prices, that would almost be a steal.
  11. The SOX are much better off than the Yankems. They can't win much w/o their best player. The SOX, otoh, would be much more competitive offensively if they were to lose their best offensive player. IOW, W/O Judge, the Yankems' offense sucks!
  12. When they have bad nights, they don't F around.
  13. Because REF is hitting around .350 against LH's and Duran is way below that.
  14. DUGO should get the award for most matured player.
  15. VAZ loved being a RED SOXER. I wish him only the best.
  16. I believe that was Paxton's 6th good start in 7 starts.
  17. It probably shouldn't count then.
  18. The perfect poster makes his appearance.
  19. SOX seem to love the number 6 as of late.
  20. Nice D by Devers and a good shut-down inning by Paxton.
  21. Did the ball bounce or did Devers bounce? Or both?
