  1. I heard on ESPN that the SOX team ERA(2.43) at this point in the season is the lowest since 1920.
  2. 5 really amazing feats accomplished by the SOX, so far, this season. 1)The quality of the original starting staff.(No one, not even Nostradamus, saw that coming.) 2)O'Neill with 9 HR's, but only 11 RBI. 3)Rafaela leading the SOX in RBI. 4)The early arrival of a truckload of injuries. 5)The SOX, despite everything, are over .500
  3. Duran Devers O'Neill Abreu Wong Masa Valdez Dalbec Rafaela
  4. True. And the BRUINS did blow a 3-1 PO lead last season, but it wasn't against the Leafs.
  5. The above post has nothing to do with me believing the BRUINS will win the Cup. As much as they've overachieved this season, I just don't believe they have enough to win the toughest championship in all team sports. Obviously, I hope I'm wrong. We SOX fans have suffered mightily from the hands of the Yankems over the years, but not as much as Toronto fans have suffered at the hands of the BRUINS. It's almost criminal.
  6. BRUINS now lead PO series against the Laffs 3-1. Jeremy Swayman has been terrific. Years ago Yankem fans asked Pedro "Who's your daddy?" Now BRUINS fans can ask Matthews "Who's your daddy?" And Matthews would answer "Swayman; he's my mommy and daddy."
  7. SOX are now 2nd in the AL in team OPS, behind the O's.
  8. The SOX team offensive stats should take a significant rise, while the team pitching ERA will decrease. The opposite will be true for the Cubbies.
  9. Hey, MOON, it's still not as crazy as 9 HR's and 11 RBI.
  10. 9th batter in the line-up leading team in RBI. "How does that grab ya darling? how does that mess your mind?"
  11. Rafaela is now the RBI leader on the SOX. Crazy shite.
  12. Not much movement on Mervis's pitches. Nervis Mervis.
  13. If anyone here says Masa is weak defensively, I'll agree with that. But, if anyone here says Masa is a weak hitter, I will definitely disagree.
  14. 9 HR's and 11 RBI. Those are stats you don't see very often.
  15. This is the kind of game where you want Joely available.
  16. Well, the pitcher's name was Little and Little did mess up the DP.
  17. All this w/o Reyes in the line-up. Who'd have thought?
