    Here's something to hang your hopeful hats on. The Sox have won more than their share of 3 game series after losing the 1st game. You can look it up if you don't trust me.

    Offensively there's some kind of illness, maybe anemia. But Bang the Drum Slowly is probably the best baseball movie ever.

    Liked him very much as both an actor and director. Of course, my favorite Redford movie is The Natural. My second favorite is The Sting. But he was involved in many excellent films.

    I love their swampy blues. But I was thinking of the great baseball film Bang the Drum Slowly. Hey, Moon, wouldn't it be great if Roy Hobbs walked into the Sox dugout and talked Cora into starting him in the outfield. After the game was over Cora would tell the press "that guy's a natural, but he can't be wearing Ted Williams' number."

    We agree to disagree about Cora as a manager. I agree with notin about Cora being a good trash can banger.

    Another season with Cora as manager would definitely upset me. That should be taken into consideration before a decision is made. Fired or promoted, just get his incompetent azz out of the dugout.

    Btw, Cora is excellent at BS, so he'll be a much better communicator with other teams than Brez.

    I don't know how many it takes, probably more than 2. But please let it be Cora who gets the job just so he's no longer manager.
